In this workshop, an experienced federal hiring manager will help you appreciate the unique and key challenges of drafting a competitive federal résumé. You will participate in analyzing real federal job openings and drafting competitive résumés aligning with those job announcements. You also will learn how to use online vacancy questionnaires effectively in your job screening and application process.

About your presenter
Nathan has coached dozens of job applicants through the federal job application and interview processes to help them land their federal job. He has worked for the Federal Government for over 20 years, and served as a hiring manager and in hiring roles for the last 12 years. He has held varied roles ranging from environmental protection to real estate portfolio management, in both subject matter expert and leadership roles. He has learned how to work with Human Resources and the federal hiring process to build teams that require wide ranges of expertise, having hired engineers, data analysts, financial analysts, industrial hygienists, and other roles. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Finance and Economics, and any free time is spent in Northern Virginia with his wife and five children.
